Who's behind it
Asher Forman
Founder
Asher is an investment banking analyst at Truist Securities, working with financial sponsors on M&A and leveraged buyouts.
Banking recruiting rewards the students who already know someone inside: what a group actually does, what the culture is like, what a superday will test. He started Coldbrew so every student can get that, straight from people doing the job now.
Before Truist, he was the third full-time hire at CrowdVolt (YC W24), leading product and growth, and worked at Metis (YC S25), building datasets used to train AI models on financial reasoning.
